Runnin' late

Runnin' late - 11/25/17 02:45 AM

Was getting to the blind a little after I wanted the other day and told the kids to start walking without me while I got our gear together. Came around the trees to see them running through the field for the blind, that's them to the left of the road bolt

Saw a nice buck but not enough time to get on him. Had to settle for this boar instead. Told the kids we just made Thanksgiving dinner for the coyotes and buzzards.

Big sow out of the same blind the next morning.

Built this bed for the cabin for under $150, finally some space to stretch out. Great time out there. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Great pics and fun times! Are your kids twins? They look the same age in the pic.
And I agree with Stub on the bed too....it looks great, but if I even had a headboard made out of that wood, I'd have splinters in my forehead and bleeding every morning, lol. I'm a rooter when it comes to sleeping. Heck, I wake up bleeding from just wearing my wedding ring.

5 & 7, my daughter just didn't want to squat down any closer to it "cuz it stinks" grin Think I already got most of the splinters off in my hands, wife only stays up there a handful of times anyway cheers

Shoot, man. I gave that up a long time ago, lol. I think it's got something to do with that "guilty conscience" of mine. It'll get ya every time.

Greatness right there. I got a pretty good staph infection once off a nut and bolt on my bed frame once. Nasty stuff.
