Few more predator pics ! And ole "Wyatt" - 10/05/17 06:16 PM
This is one of my favorite still shots from some of our cat footage and using a 55gr tracer round
These two cats were taken on the same piece of property, two different colors
This was from our south Texas trip helping out a rancher with a serious predator problem, and my most memorable night hunting. We called 13 cats (retrieved 11) several coons and a handful of greys all within 19 hours
Little spot n stalk on the pigs and picked wound up calling in this beautiful male
This old banger was taken in Parker county Tx.

We dubbed this cat "Wyatt Earp"
It was early evening, about 3 pm , sunny with cool temps and a slight wind. We decided to set up where three trails meet in an opening above a dry creek bed. We had been calling for about 20 minutes with no sign of movement and decided to try some coyote yodels. About two minutes go by and my partner Riley spotted this cat coming down the lane he was facing, and boy was this cat angry. He strutted on in looking for a fight, I can only assume over territory rights and posted up about 45-50 yards out after our decoy had caught his attention. He had stopped in a spot that put me in a bind because there was a small mesquite directly in front of my line of sight and was not the ideal spot for a clear shot. I slowly maneuvered myself into a prone position to try and crawl just enough around the mesquite to get a shot. I could just see the outside of his face and lined the crosshairs on his neck and squeezed a shot off, just skimming the side of his neck. He took it like a champ, and checked my bullet, leaving him bowed up looking around for what had just given him a little shave. We looked hard for blood and never found a drop. Just a small cluster of fur. This big boy is still wandering... we're hoping to meet him again this winter.
