New Years Eve hunting pics - 01/01/17 02:13 AM

Took these this afternoon. Was hoping to bust a hog or turkey but no luck. Still had fun watching the youngsters.

The camp buck. I walked along side him for about 75yds. He only lets me get within 10yds then walks away. One of the neighbors drove by while I was taking these pics. I waved. They slowed way down. I'm sure they were... eek2

He looks older than dirt in the face doesn't he? His body throws me off because he is so small. Either way, I enjoy having him around.

He looks pretty old, like he may need to start being fed cream style corn out of the feeder.

How long as he been around camp?

Thanks guys. Though I like taking pics just as much if not more than I do shooting, I didn't take my camera out much this year.

Oddly enough I don't think I have a single pic of the camp buck at any of our feeders or protein. He comes and drinks out of the trough in the evening and wonders off.

This camp is new so I'm not exactly sure. I had been staying a mile or two down the road last season but we started to notice him in October I think.

Maybe he is just so old and survived so many season he has no fear. grin
