That's an awesome 8pt. He looks to be at least 5 to me. Probably mid 130's.

I didn't add him up. Maybe its how close the pictures are, but my first impression is big, not insinuating they are, but they almost look unreal.

I think that is a low 140s frame. Not sure how much mass will be lost when he rubs the fluffy stuff off. Might drop to upper 30s. He is mature, I bet he has this season and two more before any decline hits (assuming good range conditions continue).

Very nice buck, I'd say 144 or so.

Wouldn't even have to think about it. They are much easier to score on the ground!

it was my fault I set the date wrong when I was helping Putchfork fill feeders and put cameras out. The day is right but t I set the month wrong.

I think some of y'all are underestimating time length especially on the G2s. That feeder just the box that holds the corns is at least 2 ft tall and those times are at least half the height of the box. I think the G2s are 12-14 inches

Wouldn't surprise me if he comes in closer to 150". When I opened the thread, my initial guess was 148" but when I added him up it came up short of it.

Mid 140's or better depending on spread and how much more he grew. He is a 7 yr old on age from those pic angles. Kill him ASAP. Great looking 8 point.

Nice one Pitchfork...Have not had much time to deal with feeders or anything for this cabin has taken its toll on me...really sucks when you can not even really think about the hunting season...although we do have some really nice deer this year...

I agree with this. My 135" 8 had 11" G2's and this one has got me beat on his 2's and 3's.

If he stays on that same feeding pattern you should be able to see him in person real soon. You had tons of pics of him. I just kept the good ones. Good luck my friend.

He will be at the top of my list. For those that might be curious, this buck grew up on the Pitchfork Ranch. 165,000 acres of low fence native wildlife.

This buck was fed mother nature with some corn and deer block whenever he wanted it. Just goes to show what good rains and age will produce.

With age prob being the most important of those two factors.

I think I have looked at those photos every day since you posted them, just cant not look.

I didn't read every comment in the post but my first questions is; are the dates on that camera correct? June of this year. That buck still has two months plus to grow. He is a 135-145 buck at the time of the pic. He could easily be 150-160 by this time of the year. I hope you get a chance at him.

I would have a hard time getting sleep. I know there are still 15 days before there is even a chance at seeing an 'on the ground' picture, but I keep coming back to this thread and hoping to see some up close or even a tailgate picture.
