He came a callin'; The Judge and a load of .410 #8 shot sent him to Serpent Heaven, wherever that may be. He was about 2 1/2 feet long. I've seen a lot of activity recently, so they may be on the move to begin denning up for the fall/winter. Watch your step!

Snakes are really moving we killed one in my Son's backyard yesterday evening.

Working nights, I am seeing more on the blacktops now seeking heat, haven't seen any rattlers, but several species. Seems Copper heads like our county road, have run down 4 in 3 weeks....
