At least we get a little white wing taste this weekend. This was last years white wing opener, could have shot as many as you wanted, back at the house around 530 lol. I feel sorry for em on Saturday

I think it's more of their migratory deal, let some get past the onslaught of guns across the state, sort of a safe zone kind of like the reason for a split in duck season would be my guess.

Saw nothing in the Katy/ Hockley area Thursday morning moved up towards Bellville and about 5:45 to sunset the flight was on. All whitewings, about 20 out of 30 limited and the rest were close to a limit and would have if their aim was better. 
I wish we would have taken pictures but we didn't even think about it.
