Here in Slidell we have had about 3" which isn't that much different than a normal week here in the swamp. My daughter live's in Baton Rouge and they are still getting hammered. She said the are reporting 13-15 inches in her neighborhood. Her home is dry but many of the low places are underwater. The system is drifting west but moving very slow! Hunker down time for sure!

Growing grass out here isn't difficult but catching it dry enough to mow is always a challenge.

Send some of that to west Texas.

We could use some too.....
