Weekend at the lease

Spent the weekend working and hunting. I put up a new tripod, filled the feeders, raised one blind, replaced the flooring in both blinds and trimmed trees. Did all this and still managed to fit in some hunting.






My wife and I got a free air show when three of these bad boys flew over at a very, very low altitude.

Looks like a good week end to me.

Use a 22 on that hog? Good shot

I wish. I had to find him the next day and was carrying my .22 for crows and jack rabbits. I used it for a size comparison on the hog.

What county are you in? I've had a couple of planes fly pretty low over our lease. I'm near Thurber/Mingus.

We're between Hamlin and Aspermont.

We see B 1Bombers and these Transports quite often. The B1s are very loud and the transports have flown over at very low altitudes multiple times.

Productive weekend and what nice piggies you have there

We have planes come over our place st San Saba, except they are fight jets absolutely hauling [censored]. Pretty cool to see them come over, sounds like a freight train coming through.
