In the blind Saturday am wondering what the heck did I do with my Duke traps Man I got this one fat Coon that casually dines at the feeder during the day. Decided when I get out of the blind going to H Brand and buy some more (Dukes)! Low and behold look who was on a suicide mission before I left

Nice shot, my favorite kind of coon. I have a few that are avoiding my dukes. Guess I'm gonna have to stay up late one night and get those taken care of.

Dude was just trying to get a bite to eat

Had a floating dock in my pond with a protein fish feeder on it. Kept finding all the feed spun out on the dock. Drove up one morning and see something black laying on the dock. Get in my john boat and paddle out. See that my protein is all spun out all over the deck and a coon is literally laying on his back, bloated, and cannot move. He is eyeballing me as I paddle up but cannot escape. Kill him with my paddle. Dude was swimming out 50 yards every night to rob my feeder.

They are amazingly adaptive animals but I still hate them

Good strategy, get them so fat on corn that they can't get through the fence and then give them a dose of lead. Way to go.
