Don have you ever eaten an Ibex? Are they any good?

Many years ago my Father bought a pure Nubian Ibex kid. It was very wild. He kept it in a pen with about 10 ft. sides on it for about a month. He wanted to trim the hoofs on him before letting out. My son tried to help him catch it. The Ibex somehow broke his neck and died. He had paid quite a bit of money for him and decided by eating him he would get something out of it. My Mother cooked some and said it was so tough you could hardly chew it. And she was a very good cook. They are very muscular. Not like Boer or other meat goats. The males do not stink as bad as other goats but I would imagine sausage would be about the only was the eat them.
