Not bad for a 6 year old.

I had the opportunity to take my son on his first big hunting trip. One of My Dad's good friends invited us down to his lease on the King Ranch. I am truly grateful that I got to take my son on a hunt of a lifetime. He had shot open sights before, but this is his first time shooting a scoped rifle. He is a heck of a shot. No flinching or fidgeting, he was ice cold. I am very proud of him and the smile on his face says it all. He whacked em and stacked em. He started with a doe, then a buck, javelina, pig and a raccoon. Heck of a weekend!

Thanks guys. I am so very proud of him. He really impressed me, he did way better than I could have imagined.

He was shooting a custom TC 223 that they had built for little kids. It has a short stock and is suppressed. It is an awesome little rifle. It has almost no kick and is super quiet. The perfect gun for a beginner.

That TC223 is perfect. When my son was about the same age we had a similar TC but unsuppressed. It was a hog killing machine in south Texas.

Yes sir. It was awesome to get to experience that with my son and my Dad all hunting together . Three generations of hunters all enjoying the outdoors and making memories of the thrill of the hunt.
