If the coloring were any different from yote I could definately lean towards wolf, good body length, still a big yote

His tall shoulders and face scream wolf to me. My uncle raised wolf for a long time and that looks like one of his breeder males

That's what would let me be able to believe wold.Big tall shoulders, thick neck, and the face. The face could just be camera angle and mood of the dog.

Has a coyote's muzzle,pointed. A wolf's muzzle isn't pointed.
And that would be a really young male wolf even if it was one,it's very small. That yote probably weighs under 60 lbs,a 6 month old male wolf will weigh more than that one.

Agree it a Yote. I guess his winter coat makes him look a bit bigger than normal. He does look well fed.

Classic coyote snout, ears and color. It's a coyote. Wolf looks nothing like it. Plus wolves are a myth in 99% of Texas.

Also he may have his fur all standing up to make himself look good for the camera....you know this generation is "selfie generation"

It's a Yote, a dang big one, but a yote. He is after something too. That's an, "I'm gonna eat you," pose.

He does look to be lacking some lead in his diet though.
