That was a week before this last rain.. I dug some run off ditches for both of them so they drain pretty well if water gets to high

Looking good Gavin, I may have to shred my 2 small plots soon, just to keep them soft, up about 10" and thick as hell.

BTW, met a guy that works for Mrs Baird's bread last night on the job up her, his son and dil live in Navasot, can't recall the boys name, but he works for the Nav water dept and his wife works for the electric co. Bet y'all know each other in that small town. He told me the name and I'll be damned if I can remember it right now bang

Right, but you never know. I know he is a bow hunter down there as well, his pops said he finally got a small to decent 8 this year. His dad knew where your shop is, said they pass it all the time.

Navasot, I used to hunt on a place near the intersection of FM 977 and South FM 3, that anywhere near where you are at?

Was a much larger tract that I fished several large ponds on the Hilltop side, but never hunted it.

Re: Just some recent pics of the plots - 12/16/15 04:57 PM

Baled plenty of hay out there

Re: Just some recent pics of the plots - 12/16/15 05:01 PM

Was always neat out there, never really knew what we were gonna see. Anyhow your plots look darn good, think we planted ours to early and they got too hot after they sprouted. Good luck

I did tell him if his son need a tractor to stop in and see you.

LOL I actually left an empty paint bucket with my THF name on it at a dealer there, before I knew you where down the road a bit. I left it in the entrance of that big "orange " tractor dealer right off the West side of the highway coming back from Houston jobs. Probably have a warrant there now for littering roflmao
