Cull bucks hoof injury. - 11/30/15 11:02 PM

Think I did this guy a favor. Small 8 pt we got for the freezer. Anyone ever seen anything like this? Looks painful, although he wasn't limping or anything.Son's hog had something similar just not as severe. Blood on the leg is mostly from me dragging him through some of the blood trail.

Looks almost like he got the hoof caught in a leg hold trap. Have neighbors trapping?

Actually yes, new neighbor is the county trapper for the county over from ours! Wonder if thats what happened?

Ouch, looks bad. I am surprised he wasn't limping. Agreed, probably a mercy. Wonder how long he had been that way.
