Buck fight at AHR

Please let me start off by saying that in no means do I claim to be a videographer. My guest Paul, THFer "hunter11263" and I witnessed an amazing duel. The ranch stocker in the fight was brought in fall '13 and has come along well. Guesses put him in the 190+ range being a mainframe 14 with 2 other points, his foe a native 10 with forked G2. Up until this year we always saw this giant as a non agressive buck even during the rut he stood back away from feeders until most the larger natives were finished. This past Sunday morning I guess he woke up on the wrong side of the bed and came in immediately posturing up against the 10 pt near him chasing a doe. In return th 10 did the same but decided to back down and walked off. Minutes later as we were finishing up the weekend hunt by removing some does, Paul popped a doe the 10 was interested in and apparently he lost it and charged the Big stocker. We missed the initial confrontation but heard the crash and grabbed the camera no tripod for a 13 minute show that lasted beyond my battery being exhausted.

That 10 pointer was holding his own pretty good but was clearly wearing down.

A few minutes later the 10 shook loose and left at full speed with stocker on his a$$

As Art stated I witnessed this first hand and it was an amazing sight to see!!
We had a great weekend out at Antler Hunt Ranch again, My son and I both shot big 8's and 6 doe. My son passed on the native 10pt in the video the first evening we hunted Still trying to figure that one out.

Those Turkeys are like, "Hey Tom, aren't you glad the hunters are watching these big bucks..."

At some times throught the weekend there could have been better than 80 turkeys at times. Durn Corn buzzards
