This is how you make an average deer look awesome - 09/22/15 11:08 PM

I see post on some other hunting sites of deer that in a picture look incredible. Some are but some are really not. Below is a picture I messed with - looks off the charts.

Second pic is a "real time" picture of the same deer. Not a bad deer - probably 150 class - but certainly not in the class the first one is made to look like.

Moral is that pictures can be deceiving

I would take that deer in a heartbeat. First pic seems to be up close.

Damn Scooter the first time you sent me that pic of that buck I thought he was a monster 6 still a great buck but not nearly as big as I thought.

That is my point - on our place he is an average deer at 150 - I can make him look like a 180 with manipulating the picture - proceed with caution when basing score and age on a picture

The casual observer would never recognize this as a photoshop...to them, it's simply monstrous.

I thought one just needed a carp game camera from early nineties to make great deer show up.

Yeah enough time and your mind can make those pictures out to be whatever you want.

I'm a skeptic, seen way to many bass fisherman's pictures to not be, you know ole long arm roflmao
