New Wheels

New Wheels - 08/18/15 02:34 AM

Finally decided to retire my 3/4 ton Silverado. It had 345,000 miles on it and the engine, tranny and injectors were all still untouched (and still running fine) but the electronics were starting to go and it one was thing after another.

New truck is a 2015 GMC Sierra 1 ton single rear wheel, crew cab, long box, and 4x4 diesel. Put a line-x spray in bed-liner in as well. Have about 3200 miles on it so far and love it. Mileage so far is better than the old truck. Getting just over 23 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg combined. Towing my mini-ex on the 20 foot float (14,000 lbs) I am getting 12 mpg.

Congrats, looks great! It's a shame you didn't get your money's worth out of the old one. wink
