Rustic cooler I built to donate to HuntingWithSoldiers-updated with pictures

I built this rustic cooler for the Beast Feast that Huntingwithsoldiers is having in Lampasas Oct 10th. It will be put up for auction and I'm hoping it brings in a descent chunk of change for the program so they can get more soldiers out in the woods. I'll post better pics tomorrow after my wife snaps a few pics.

here is a pic with a little more light so you can see the color. I built this out of pallet wood then torched the wood to add character and then applied a coat of polyurethane.

yeah I'm happy with the color I was going to stain with Walnut but it was just too dark and you couldn't see the character in the wood.

That's an awesome cooler.

Gordon said he will have to talk to the guy who is sponsoring the event and running the auction, he isn't 100% sure how it's going to happen yet.

She definitely knows more about photography than I do. I really hope this brings in some money for a program that is near and dear to me.

When is the auction and are you going to be there when it's auctioned off?
