On the road,,,,,,to Houston. Arrgghh - 05/23/15 04:58 AM

Received a call from a customer yesterday from a job I did all the underground water utility lines at an apartment complex in Houston. Acquired a high level of dislike for the traffic, smell, bums, etc over the project time.

Plumber made a huge mistake on his calculations and they need an additional 6" line ran under a parking lot, then thru a 36" thick grade beam and into retail space. All the inside work is to be hand dug.
Memorial Day weekend, straight thru drive tonight, all day tomorrow and I have to miss ol Clean at the lease. Baldy may be lost without my guidance.

I don't know how you guys in Houston manage living there. Hats off to you.

This is one hell of a change order!

Houston ain't for the weak or dainty. Sort of a "only the strongest survive" place.

I love it here, less the traffic. Jobs, money, oil & gas capital of the world, on the coast, etc. I'm very powerful and not easily intimidated though.

It's not everyone's cup of tea.

You are on my route after we knock this one out. Humid down here again, if the Devil's sister's armpit ever had a smell it would be like this, sticky, smelly, and nasty.

Got several family members in Houston and they love it. They also have huge paychecks, so I am gonna go out on a limb and say that's why they like it. up

You did not miss too much Kent. We were able to Mow around the barn but not your cindero....rain! A lot! Trapped a 100 Lb sow with a bullet hole in her arse.... Pretty sure that's your doing. Caught a bunch of bass on my front pond and enjoyed some fun fellowship. Missed ya!
