Spring in the Texas Hill Country

Spring in the Texas Hill Country - 04/10/15 03:20 PM

Hey folks how about a few shots of mother nature at her best. I drove my wife around for a few days this past week to see her folks in San Angelo during Easter. Pam has a great eye for the camera and her photographs reflect just that. She took almost 400 shots and here are just a few she snapped while on a wildfolower tour around the hill country! Its beautiful every year about this time but it seems extra nice this year. I don't know maybe I'm just getting soft in my later years.

Those are great shots. I guess I'm getting soft too, because I sure do love wildflowers. This year has been particularly good. Your Wife has a great eye for photography. up

Having grown up in San Marcos, I always seem to miss the hill country a little more than normal this time of year. Thanks for sharing the great photos up

Great photos up I always enjoy springtime color, don't think it makes us soft or takes a notch out of our man cards.

Great Pics.

Elkhunter--what part of the hill country? The one picture sure looks like the half full Lake Buchanon. Love the Axis photos!

You sir are correct, that's Lake Buchanon dam. The Axis were near Fredricksburg and most of the photos were between Llano and Johnson City!
