Finally Back

Well I got the call Thursday to pick up last years buck I harvested with my daughter Victoria (first pic).
Thought it would be interesting to line the last 3 years up.
David at Double D did a what I think is a Great Job

I like the symmetry of the one on the bottom. All good bucks,,,,,,

I like the symmetry of the bottom one but the length of the G2 daggers with stickers from last year. Good ones Stub..

Last years was my favorite also for personal reasons. My incredible non hunting daughter Victoria wanted to come with me.
She wanted to sleep in on the morning hunt, join me for the afternoon hunt.

Remember, I hunt on a small parcel of land with a lot of hunters close by. The buck came out early that morning, I took the safety off and started to take it, then I decided to hold off thinking how cool would it be if it survived the morning and came back in the afternoon while my girl was with me. Watched that deer for quite a while that morning before he boogied.

Low and behold, the wonderful man above blessed us that afternoon. Buck showed back up, the smiles and grins on Victoria and my face lasted quite a while
