Went calling yesterday evening

Had 2 cats come in within 30 min but couldn't get a shot at the first....

This is my third and havnt mounted one yet either. This is a small female so don't think she'll be getting mounted. The cat I shot last yr was a big male but shot it in the face and lost the bottom jaw so it wasn't mountable. I see so many pics of bad mounts I'm waiting on the perfect cat to spend the $ on a good taxi...

Cool. I've got one mounted. Double D in Rockwall did it. He does really good work, as many THFrs will attest. If I remember it was $400. Not cheap, but the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Neat...I have never shot a bobcat. I've seen them in Iowa during late muzzleloader season but have yet to see one here in VA.

First one came running through with adult cottontail playing, then I switched to baybee cottontail and this one was spotted about 10 min later but had to wait about 5 min for her to come out of the brush for a clear shot
