3 years? Is there a story that goes with it?

Well I don't have a great story. I really don't shoot much but hunt allot. firdt buck I have taken off our ranch in 6 years. It has always been a goal of mine to shot a 150+ eight. He ended up scoring 164 but as 10 because he has two one inch kickers on left. Over the last three years I'm the only was who has seen him on hoof. I saw him at least 6 other times over the years. Last year I climbed a old blind just do some glassing. Looked down and he was 30 yards away from me looking up at me. Only problem was my gun was on the ground. (I was on a old frame of stand) I also walked up on him this year on a wheat field but brush inbetween us was blocking me. A couple days before I got him he came out right as sun was in my eyes and literally couldn't see through the scope. I put allot of time in for him over three weeks of stand time just this year. Its a buck of a lifetime for me for some reason I never expected it to all work out.

Not to make it a HF thread but this family ranch is 3000 acres hf protein and no gemtics .
