Looks like a younger lion to me, just wanted out of that cage. They generally only attack smaller women or children as far as I've heard of human attacks. Happy ending...
That would be an awesome find.

I would have it running down both legs if she turned to the left leaving the trap.

I think I would have had a gun ready to go just in case.

Every time that cat spat/lunged, the camera jumped in unison.

I would have hog tied that thing, took it home, tamed it, and had myself a new kitty.
Cool video. Risky operation the way he did it. Thanks for posting.

Typically before I do a lion release, I like to hit them through the cage with cattle prods a bunch of times.

I think they invented ropes and pulleys for a reason. That could have been one of those here, hold my beer moments.

I don't know what his latch set up was, but after 4 minutes of breaking sticks, I was ready to kill him myself. I'm with Old Rabbit - they make these things called welding gloves, hooks, cables/ropes - 'might want to look into that.
Entertaining though. Thanks for posting.
Did give me an idea though. Y'all think that covering up with brush, except for the opening, would keep deer out of a hog trap??

I laughed when he said to his wife "you may want to roll the window up".

That's cool. I've never even caught a bobcat in a live trap. Plenty of feral cats, skunks, possums and coons, though.
