Well...They got me again

Here is the tree that held the security box that housed my game cam, extended antenna (for the texting feature). And the ammo box that held the battery. All of them screwed to the tree and pad locked closed. Here is the blood found very near my feeder from the poachers kill.
I went to my place Saturday to take a neighbor and his daughter for a youth hunt. After the hunt, I went to check the camera and found this. A neighbor at the farm saw someone parked at my gate late Friday Evans didn't stop them. He does think he knows who it is and now the game wardens are on the case. This guy, if it is him, is quite known and was arrested two weeks ago trespassing on a place less than a mile from mine. I don't think much will come of it, but I'm holding out hope.

Too bad you didn't get pictures texted to you with the thief in them. like many others on the THF, I hate thieves.

Set another cheap camera in same place then set a good one high up in tree pointed down that texts photos or set camera watching your entry gate...

Hopefully the thief gets what he deserves.

I have a game camera for the sole purpose of property watching, my fear is that something like this will happen and I'll lose it. Score 1 for sorry thieves.

If it comes down to your choice to prosecute, I hope you go through with it. These AH have to know there is a penalty for being a dick. Just think how nice it would be to catch them in the act!

The game wardens are very familiar with who the neighbor thinks he saw. A very thorough investigation is under way. If they catch him/them, I have agreed to prosecute. To answer earlier questions, when the battery gets low on this model camera, it stops sending texts and just stores the pictures on the SD card. This is why I didn't get a pic emailed during the theft. I have faith in the law. And even if I don't get it back, there is nothing I can do. I still own the property. I will take even more precautions next time.
