US 1918 Trench Knife

My friends dad gave him a few knives and this was one of them. He is wanting to get it appraised. If anyone can help let me know.

Very cool I came across one online going for about $850 but the value could come down to the condition. Man that's a wicked looking knife I've never seen those before thanks for sharing the pic.

That is a collectable.

Makes me appreciate the men who were given that knife and were trained to use it.

I believe most of the training for knife fighting was on the job in that era.

If that knife could talk I bet it would have some cool stories to tell.

Without sheath up to $400

With sheath up to $600

does it have the scabbard with it? I never really learned how to tell if the knuckle knives were real. Assuming it is real, if it has the correct scabbard and in decent shape $450-$650 range. If no scabbard $300-$400 range. it would be tough to get those prices. you can't sell these knives on eBay and there's no local market for them. only place to really sell it for decent amount would be if you set up at one of the large shows around the country (i.e. SOS, Tulsa, etc).

looks like wildphilhickup beat me to it, but that's 2 different opinions that are consistent.
