What part of country are you in? We had some hybrid wolves running about in Callahan County about 12 years ago, biologist and warden said they were released from a private landowner who couldn't control them. End of day federal trappers had to come in since they were wreaking havoc on livestock. If that is a pure blood yote then he is huge.

If you google images of coywolf and eastern wolf (red wolf) there is not much visible difference in appearance other than size between them and coyotes. The biggest coyote I have taken to date was a 48 lbs male which I did a full body mount of. If that is pure coyote he is world class and a true trophy. I would be hunting him hard if I were you. According to the great internet the world record is 74 3/4 lbs and 5 ft in length. Standing next to those T-post he looks pretty dang close to that to me.

They took a 65lb coyote off our lease in Crockett a few years ago and I dont think it was even that big. The face also looks more rounded to me than most coyotes and more defined muscle structure.
