Oak and Black Walnut end grain cutting board

Oak and Black Walnut end grain cutting board - 12/14/14 02:26 AM

Finished this one up today. The black walnut wood is from a tree that had died a long time ago on my brothers farm. The Oak is recycled from old wood pallets and an oak cabinet. This was was quite a bit more time consuming than the mesquite board I made.

It is about 9 x 12, and pretty thick at almost 2 inches.

Yeah, it sure is some nice wood. I can make you something really awesome if you give me the rest of that walnut!

Thanks for all the compliments.
