Thanks for the pics nice to still see them. I remember when the population was less than a total 75. Still struggling today with an estimated 599 birds.

Walkabout, at one point, had 9 here, 9, that's a whole bunch when you think about it. Felt some what privileged to tell you the truth.

Cool!! I've seen a group of 5 fly over me around port a a few years back but have never seen any on the ground

yeah Sneaky that's for sure, the first time I seen them they were nearly in my front part of the yard. And I said thems whoopers, no cant be, yes by gosh them are, it took awhile for it to sink in.

Found another sorry so far away, but this was when all nine were here. Plus you are not supposed to get to close to them, it's a federal law not to harass them.

You do need a better camera.. this was shot with a $300.00 Canon PowerShot SX40 HS which is what I shoot most all my video and photographs with. The Canon PowerShot SX50 HS is the current PowerShot and it is even better at about the same price range.

And just so you know.. my canon Powershot is always set to "auto" (idiot mode) because I don't know nuttin' about birthin' no babies Mrs Scarlett.. wink
