A buddy and I went to Idaho in May and hunted bear with Elk Springs Outfitters and had a total blast. First off Al and his wife run a top notch outfit. Best hunt I've been on and I hope to do an elk and bighorn hunt with them whenever I'm drawn for sheep. I shot my bear on the first day of the hunt and my buddy got his in the 5th morning... Al worked his butt off to put us on some nice bears..

Man, I am sitting here staring at the screen and can almost feel like I'm on that mountain....Those pics are awesome! What beautiful country. AND bears, congrats!

could you PM me info on the guide? I've gone to New Mexico once for bears and was let down to say the least, I'm trying real hard to find a good bear hunt in about two seasons from now. That's awesome, congrats!

Thanks guys it was a great hunt!! The terrain up there was the steepest I've ever hunted and probably the prettiest..
