Thanksgiving in South Texas

I was able to once again spend Thanksgiving in Webb Co., something that started 34 years ago with my dad that I've continued with my boys. Everything down there is really green and the older bucks were not moving or coming to corn, does and younger bucks were not a problem and it appears that we're having a really good year. Most of the does had a fawn with quite a few having twins. I'd say the the buck's weight are up 10% over last year, and in some cases making them look older than they actually are. We did a little doe management and my oldest was able to tag a nice little buck. Their 7mm-08 dropped both in their tracks.

I think the smile on their face says it all and I cannot get enough of enjoying the outdoors with them. Here are a few pictures from the week.
