Beautiful buck. I watched 22 axis does cross my fence last Friday afternoon. I think we're reaching critical mass.

This morning I saw 2 WT does and a 8 point Buck in with my Ibex nannies. The buck jumped back out. He jumped the 74" fence with ease. The 2 Does are still there. The Axis Buck jumped in with the Ibex males. Also the same type of fence.

I am sure that you don't want him on your property using up valuable resources that could and should be going to your Ibex. I will bite the bullet and come take him out for you.

I have heard of them doing it, it would be a sight to see.

I doubt that he hangs around for long. I have a few Axis does in that pasture that have gotten in from the outside. He probably came in to service them. After his work is done he will probably be gone. If not I will get someone to try to take him.

No I have not seen many there. In fact Yesterday afternoon I sat over there until the feeder went off. 7 WT Does and a spike Axis came. First Axis of any kind I have seen there in a while. I see some on the LF neighbors before you get to my place. Saw about 50 in a herd as you drive through the Mayan dude ranch before you get here and see a bunch in town. Funny animals, when you see them you usually see a bunch.

Yes sir, when we headed out last time we saw about 60-70 down there by the dude ranch also. Love that country.
