2014 Kansas Buck

After 4 years of rifle hunting in Kansas this was my first year to bow hunt and first deer with a bow. Got him 11-12-14 about 5:30 pm. He went about 80-100 yards, I let him lay for and hour and a half and the coyotes had already eaten out some of his rump




We rough scored him at 148



Here he is on trail cam about 5 min before I shot



And this is the part that makes it bitter sweet, I had this buck on cam the last 3 years and it was always between 11/1 and 11/18 past 2 years. I pull my card and he is back for a 3rd year the day I arrive. Never saw him or had another pic of him. Couldn't turn down the big mature 9 when he came out at 30 yards
