Watched this buck since 2012 and decided to try to take him with my crossbow. It took 35 days of hunting to get him. I knew he would be a challenge and he proved me right.
Then had this buck show up and get in a fight and was able to take a lot of pics of the fight. Being that I had used my one buck tag already on a buck over 13" I decided to call my cousin and try to get him this buck.
He was finally able to get a shot at him 2 days later when he showed back up.

I have watched this buck the last couple of seasons from a 2yo now to a 4yo. As a 2yo he had an enlarged/swollen left tear duct about the size of a golf ball and he got the name "Tear Duct". I got to watch him a lot as a 3 year old and he was just an average 8 for the area. I didn't get any velvet pics of him and he didn't show up until a few weeks before bow season and he quickly shot up to the top of the hitlist.
I only got to see him once this season and that was enough. He is my first buck with a bow.

Here's mine from our Rusk County place. I saw this buck a couple of weeks ago for the first time and was not able to get a shot. We had no pictures of him prior to me seeing him. We finally got a picture of him two days ago. I'll be in the stand all day Friday and Saturday waiting on him. We have been cursed with short brow tine gene on our East Tx place until now. Glad he's been spreading his genes on our place the last couple weeks.

I'm trying to get my wife on this guy for her first deer. He originally started on my hit list, but I used my tag on a big 8 that hadn't been seen by anyone or their TC this year.

Here is what I am hoping to connect with. Only 8 on managed property but biologist has signed off on the shot! Now I need to see if luck and skill will come together......

I watched this one for two years on my small 50 acre property in Bosque County. It was sickening to watch him jump the fence for two years. Decided to take him this year.

Yes, his brows were what made up my mind to take him this year. Plus I have never gotten a buck with a true kicker point before. He has one a little over 3 inches on one of his back tines.

Maybe this guy if he's still around. Pic is from late last season and I saw him cross a road at about 200 yards on the last Saturday of the season. I've been looking for him without success. As of last night, I have a couple trail cams setup in the draw he frequents. If he's still kickin', I should have pics of him when I get back out there Thanksgiving weekend.
