Two Less Pigs

Two Less Pigs - 11/03/14 03:26 AM

We opened gun season seeing a lot of deer but only pulled the trigger on a couple of nasty stink'n pigs. I shot the black one which went close to 200 lbs, my buddy's went about 250 lbs. No big monster bucks, but several pretty nice 8 points seen. Some signs of rut starting with a couple of bucks chasing does. We have hunted the Woodson area for 17 years. The drought has been bad, but we have never seen it like it is now. Half or more of the grass/weeds are gone, just bare ground.

My 1984 CJ7 I call the "Pig Hauler" I made all the racks. The one in front mounts in the receiver hitch and works off the winch.
