A lot of pigs and a porcupine

There are somewhere around 19 to 22 pigs in this picture, depends on who is counting. From my brother's place in Stephens County.



This is the second appearance of a porcupine on the same place. People around there say they see one at about 10 year intervals.

About 3 weeks ago we went to Silverton, saw more dead porcupines on the way that I have seen in the last 20 years.

Time to go hog hunting!!!

porcupines are probably in the rut….i hear, you can get good money for the long hairs, over 7 inches long off the porcupines. The 'Artists' use them for their paintbrushes as well as high end hollywood makeup folks.

or maybe it was 3.5 inches and longer….

I'll shoot him and let you collect them lol.

Shot one with my bow last year. Smelled like hell.
