Chris Kyle Tribute

Chris Kyle Tribute - 02/11/13 10:33 PM

I never met Chris Kyle in person, but he was a brother in arms. My wife and I watched the funeral and neither one of us could hold our emotions back. This was a great man, patriot and servant of The Lord. I served in Iraq and on countless missions we had snipers from different Seal teams providing cover for us. It wouldn't surprise me if this man was one of them.. Snipers and Seals usually stay out of the spot light off obvious reasons, but Chris Kyle has welcomed it. He used the spotlight to help countless numbers of service men and women. He put the spot light on PTSD and a host of other issues that our service members deal with on a daily basis.. If you see a man or woman in uniform, please take the time to thank them for there service and dedication to this nation. Rest in peace CPO Chris Kyle. The Devil of Ramadi.. Semper FI

Thanks for posting the pictures of this true American patriot. I am glad that I was able to make the service today - most of those who spoke painted a picture of a real quality human being, above and beyond his military accomplishments that most are familiar with. There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to be part of his life.
Thank you for your service as well.

So many people take the freedoms that we enjoy as Americans for granted. Men like this pay the cost for us to live the way we do....RIP SOLDIER

That man was a hero.

"We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."

RIP Warrior.

Re: Chris Kyle Tribute - 02/12/13 12:46 PM

Hooyah CPO Kyle. He was a true American warrior and will be greatly missed. My buddy Scott was the one that sang the song Valor and was good friends with Chris. That's how i knew him. He did so much more for people than most people know. What you hear about on the news is only a portion of the things he did over the years. Scott and Chris were joking around in a bar about the name of one if they owned it. Scott came home and wrote Valor. It is also the name of the new album he has coming out soon. He is an Marine and I for one and glad i got to know him several years ago. If you want to hear more, check out Scooter Brown Band. I will be working with Scott a lot more in the future to help carry on some of Chris's work. Continue to pray for Chris's wife and children. She has to be one of the strongest women out there.

"Crossing the Bar" Tennyson

Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

Rest in peace Chief....
