Good pic! I had an old Appaloosas that would open the gate, flip the lid on the feed barrel and pig out.
that whole corn will kill him dead if he gets too much of it

I had 5 of them show up for a while. Cost me over $1000 in feed and equipment before they disappeared. I don't know where they went. I guess the owner wasn't too worried about them.

well, at least he/she is a nice looking horse. the nag hogs that did that to my feeder were tore up looking.

The little mare is a “rescue” project of my daughters. She belonged to a co-worker of my wife who was having a terrible hard time feeding her family last year, much less the colt and its mother. $100/bale hay put many horse owners in the same predicament. My daughter and I bought the colt (like I needed another horse) and when we loaded her in the trailer, the children were all crying. My first thoughts were that this was going to be a tough situation but then I discovered that the tears were tears of joy…their little “Princessa” would no longer be hungry. Sometimes we underestimate our kids.

I've had cows, boer goats, and even emus do that... but never a horse. Cool pic.
