I got a text a while back of a MONSTER hit on 380. There seems to be alot of nice deer meeting their deaths on that road

It's being thought about.

Probably an expensive way to hunt, can tear up a truck quickly. They ought to let the driver have the rack. One mean looking buck!!!

If the meat isn't spoiled, I hope it goes to a worthy cause.

I have seen this buck several times cross the road. I drive by there every monring and night. It is truly a shame. I was 5 mins after it was hit. Below is a link to more pics I took on my phone. The original post does not do it justice. I have seen another one bigger running around there. I want to know when TPWD is going to open up an archery only season for Collin County???

I aged him at 5.5 and rough measured about 183. He has 28 scorable points and alot of mass with 21.5 inches inside. Main beams righ at 22 inches.

I have heard through the grapevine that they are opening archery only for Collin County next year. We'll see when the new books come out, I suppose.

This is 95% of the reason why I purchased my first bow this year. I want them to limit the season to Collin County residents only!
