Beats Dragging - Even Beats A Deer Cart

I carry a deflated weather balloon and a canister of Helium. When I get a deer down I tie the deer to the balloon and a rope to the deer's leg. Then fill the balloon with gas until the deer is off the ground and walk that sucker out.

Dang-it ............. knew it was too good to be true

But how does the deer know he should only allow himself to be shot upwind of your truck?

Sounds like something to check into.

Would be a great idea IRL but I think the balloon size would be prohibitively large -- or maybe not.

EDIT: Just checked and a 20 foot diameter balloon would lift 263 pounds.

One year on my lease in West Tx I ran out of corn to put in my feeder. But had a 40 lb bag of Gravy train dog food in the truck. Filled the feeder with it. Worked great. When a deer came to the feeder all I had to do was whitsle then yell "play dead boy" and the deer fell over and died right there.

My first thought was; wouldn't it be easier to carry the deer than a deflated weather balloon and a helium canister.

Why not just stick in his a-- and air him up, put on a halter and lead him out.

Next time use Skittles and catch yourself a rainbow.
