Wonder if they'll give his gear back to him if he comes forward.

I'm not hunting. I'm a wildlife photographer and I want my stuff.

Love all of those "potential charges" when all that they found was some gear...

I'll bet there is a City employee somewhere saying 'Oops, they found my stuff'

I remember a few years back after the far North end of Grapevine was opened to a limited number of draw hunts they found a number of stands and ground blind set ups.

I doubt he is getting his stuff back, even if he is just a photographer.

And I doubt it was a hunter with a firearm. If neighbors noticed an abundance of critters in the area, surely they would have noticed gunfire. I’m going with a bow hunter.

A wildlife photographer wouldn't be content with photos taken by a game camera.

There are several wooded area in Abilene that have both deer and wild turkeys. One of those area also has a large homeless "housing area". I imagine the rats and mice are also abundant in that place. One of the best areas in town to see deer is near the Taylor county jail.

The green area is about 180 acres. We have spotted deer in the mowed area along the creek a lot of times.

I think he was referring to an excuse for having the blind set up.

Interesting to me how cities are always on folks’ butts to mow their lots by citing them, etc. - but many city-owned lots are jungles. Same thing in my town.

The fact that all the equipment was still in place at this time of the year points to other possible intentions.

Would have been a better story if they found a body inside chewed up by rats or something. Kind of boring. What's wrong with fake news today, can't they spice this one up a bit?

A coupla dead hookers inside would kinda liven up the story a bit, just sayin.....
