Dicks Sporting Goods and Field & Stream Stores - 02/28/18 07:55 PM

To all members - the owner of Dick's Sporting Goods and now Field & Stream stores has decided they will raise the age to 21 to purchase a rifle and will no longer sell AR type rifles or high capacity mags. They have given in to the liberal left and I for one will never shop at either store again. Each of you has to make up there own minds about this but I would strongly encourage you to do the same. Safe hunting and shooting to you all and thanks for reading!

Why the duplicate post? There’s already about 6 others about the same thing.

I've never liked any other than my own. I prefer to think of myself as a lesbian trapped in a mans body.

We trust 18 year olds to defend our freedom with guns on foreign soil, but can't sell them guns when they return home so they can protect their families...seems backwards to me.

Are the brick and mortar Field and Stream stores the same as the online Field and Stream stores? I get emails all the time from the online store.

Re: Dicks Sporting Goods and Field & Stream Stores - 03/06/18 12:03 AM

I think so Grizz.

I'm suing Walmart for discrimination against fat people

I cut my Dicks / Golf Galaxy / Field and Stream credit card up and sent it back to them with a NRA sticker in the envelope.

I'm all for duplicate posts. Either read them or don't. We don't need "post police" calling out members

Re: Dicks Sporting Goods and Field & Stream Stores - 03/06/18 06:45 PM

Out here in the West you would think they would be better in their outdoors section, but they're not. Pretty much a golf and tennis store anymore, and the employees are worthless at their job. Like Sports Authority, they will drive themselves out of business.

I have been in Dick's once, I mainly shop at Sportsman's Warehouse.

I stopped by Wal-Mart in Kerrville Monday the 5th to pickup another box of 22lr and on their ammo cabinet was a note stating that as of the 6th of March all ammo and firearm purchases you would have to be 21.

Dick's can do this and it will not hurt their bottom line. Johnny Morris, BPS CEO, meet with the lawyer(s) representing the Sandy Hook families. He was given a letter asking him to stop selling AR's. He knows if he did, this would hurt his business big time.
