Maximum safe time from shot to cleaning turkey - 11/20/17 12:14 AM

Shot a turkey earlier with my bow and finally found him. Shot right at 3:45 and found him 5:45. Is the meat still good? It was about 65 degrees when I shot him and he was laying under a tree which would have been shaded.

I’d breast him out and fry him up. If the meat passes the smell test it’s fine.
