protein feeders

When the rut starts the bucks stop eating. Is there any reason to keep the protein feeders going?

Our bucks keep eating protein. They never quit.

Ours too, and the doe. I've tried to just switch to corn during season but can't get the other guys on board.

They don’t stop eating, just may eat less.

I run my protein feeder year around. Even if the bucks slow down the does come in and eat and may bring the buck you were after.

They'll eat it year around if you feed it. They may eat more or less during certain times of year usually depending on range conditions.

I think I am going to continue too feed and see what happens
