Does anyone Hunt Young County??? - 11/11/16 01:43 AM

Just bought some land south of Olney! While walking the property we saw a good 6 point buck and a doe. We have mainly mesquite trees but some oaks around the ponds.

Just wanted to see how the hunting is in our new area! We saw doves and hog sign as well and hope that there are turkeys but haven't seen any sign.

Let me know about yalls experiences in Young County! cowboy

We have a place west of Olney, towards the river. A lot of hunting pressure but some good deer can be found. Plus, plenty of pigs to go around. Good luck!

Thanks!! we got lucky and our neighboring properties don't hunt so hopefully that will take some pressure off the Game!

Im about 10 miles outside of Loving. Ton of hogs, plenty of deer and yep we have turkey as well. Deer arent very big this year but have been decent in the past years. I have multiple thermals and electric buggy so i just drive the property at night and look for the hogs...get out and bang bang. Driving around at night is also a great time to see all the deer bed down to get an idea of what we have. The electric buggy drives right by them and they dont bother to even get up most times.

Cheers
