What is the next criteria.

First it was antler points. Then it was B&C score. Now is maturity. What will be the next criteria before a Buck Deer can be taken?

Maturity, Hmmm. I know some people that are more mature at 16 than some at 50. Is it the same with deer? They may be mature at 3 and not at 6?

I'm 60 and the most immature person my wife knows, so she says. How would that translate to deer tagging?

People have hell trying to figure out if a Buck meets AR's. Just think if they had to figure out if a Buck is mature.

I haven't seen any "maturity" criteria listed as anything other than a personal preference.

Some people have preferences on caliber of rifle, gun or bow, wide or tall, typical or non-typical etc.

Please link where someone has said or implied "maturity" should be accepted harvest "criteria" for anyone other than themselves.

Pretty silly "criteria" since "maturity" isn't even an agreed on measure.

Mine starts and stops with legality. Doesn't mean I shoot the first legal buck I see, but I refuse to disparage somebody over shooting a 2 year old 14" spread 8 point.
