This was back in the spring during planting season. Found all of these guys under a pile of tin and trash that someone dumped.

Makes you wonder why so few people are bitten. Rattlers seem to be really moving around the past 2 weeks.

I have cut down hundreds of cedars on my place and I have always been on the lookout for rattlesnakes, but to this day have never found one under a cedar bush
I had an oldtimer tell me they don't like the scent that a cedar's oil puts out..
you guys here anything like that before?

That place would have been up for sale the next day.....shows you how manly I am when it comes to rattlers.
