Not from this company. Local guy builds them in my area.

Really excited. Haven't had much success slowing the hogs, but I feel like this will at least make my trapping a little more effective. Guy said the biggest problem is that it sends you pictures of coons, etc. all night so you may get sick of it.

That second one was a good group to catch.
The traps have been posted before, I think they are a great idea and seem to work great. I'm not putting that kind of money into a hog trap though.

I got it for less than half of what I've seen them listed for, though your point stands.

I think it's going to be a lot of fun, to be honest. Main reason I paid that much.

the first video I saw of this type of system, at least one of the piglets got caught under the cage and squealed bloody murder for a bit. I bet those aren't cheap!

Kewl! Set off by remote, or sensor? inertia from springs?, bet it is a biatch to lift to reset

I agree, looks like fun. Would be nice if they were a little larger diameter to be able to fit a larger sounder, I have seen plenty of sounders that wouldn't fit in that. But, I like how the trap is up to prevent cattle from getting in there. Pretty cool device.

It sends text messages to your phone (you can turn them off) when animals are under the trap. You can decide to activate it by just replying back to the text.

I'll let everyone know how it goes. I'm pretty dang excited about it, though my wife is furious at how much it cost.

I told her it would help the family have more fun because my son gets bored easily and we'd know whether or not there were pigs in the trap.
