I have been pondering a cheap route for this too. I was wondering if the small cheap solar powered path lights zip tied to the feeder legs would provide adequate lighting? usually come in a set of 8 or 9, could use one per feeder leg...
We're running about a half dozen of THESE. I trimmed a square trailer tail light lens to fit over the LEDs, siliconed it on, and have been running them for a couple years now.
$9.95 at Walmart . The solar spotlights . I have run them for years . Bright enough to shoot by at 100 yards but dim enough not to spook anything . Tape them to the feeder legs with the .59 electrical tape . Save the receipt , it's Walmart , they will replace any that quit .
Some of you guys have some very creative and interesting setups any chance you can post pics of what it looks on the feeder and what it looks like at night when they are working?
