I am down till the end of December :(

So.. I am not going to be hunting till the last week of December. Having to live vicariously through all your posts heh.

Hope to put a few hogs into the freezer when I do go down though

I know the feeling. I have next week to get my buck, then I go in for shoulder surgery and will be unable to hunt for about two months, maybe more.

I played a little rough in my youth and they needed to go in and clean it up. I kept putting it off, but could not put it off any longer. They put implants in both large toes... heh.

Should be back to walking and pain free end of December.

JohnRussell, hope you get better soon. I am going to send you a PM, I had toe surgery in February and it's still sore. I have never heard about an implant. All the fun stuff we did as kids sure hurts now.

Don't feel bad John. Had carpal tunnel surgery on the right hand Tuesday and will have the left done on the 10th. Wouldn't be so bad, but we are archery only on our lease. But by mid late December I will be back to fill the last three tags. Hang in there. It's a long season.

I wish you a speedy recovery my friend. We will break those new feet in on some quail.
